PowerWash Simulator is one of the strangest simulator games in recent years, and yet it has captivated thousands of players, after its first release on Steam and Xbox, and since the January 31 also on PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
Published by Square Enix, in this simulator we control a cleaner who, using pressurized water (and different soaps as we progress) we remove the scab from cars, houses, facilities…
Part of the beauty of PowerWash Simulator is the free updates. Recently a DLC was released in which we could clear the Croft Mansion from Tomb Raider… and a crossover DLC with Final Fantasy VII will be released shortly.
The Midgar Special Pack PowerWash Simulator available on March 2
Today the date of this DLC has been announced: it will come out March 2. At that time you will be able to access it from a new section of Special levels of the main menu. It should update automatically. It is totally free.
He Midgar Special Pack includes five levels: the Seventh Heaven bar, the Scorpion Sentinel, Hardy Daytona and Shinra Haulerla, the Airbuster and the Mako Energy exhibition… inside you will also find mythical vehicles, or even Cloud’s sword full of dirt.
Your goal? Take aim in first person and shoot pressurized water to start and clean all the dirt embedded in vehicles or buildings.
With these themed levels, you’ll revisit iconic moments from Final Fantasy VII… in a whole new way, cleaning up the mess left behind by Cloud and company.
It’s a simple game, thought more of as a relaxing and therapeutic experience, because it’s really nice to see how you remove all the dirt and what’s underneath is shiny…
PowerWash Simulator is one of those games that, despite being so rare, have become true mass phenomena on PC and consoles, perhaps on a small scale… and not so much.
