BEIJING, 08 FEB – Beijing will “firmly defend China’s sovereignty, security and development interests”. This is the response of Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, regarding what US President Joe Biden said in his State of the Union address, in which he had invited “not to make mistakes: as we clarified last week, if China threatens our sovereignty, we will act to protect our country.
