Statement by the Juventus club through the chief football officer: “I think some extrapolated sentences could take on a different meaning from what they have. This applies to Juve and all the people involved in the investigations”
At the end of a day full of controversy over the words of one of the prosecutors in the Prisma investigation, Ciro Santoriello, the position of the Juventus club arrives. It is Francesco Calvo, Juventus’ new chief football officer, who did it, in the pre-match match against Salernitana: “I think some extrapolated sentences can take on a different meaning from what they have. This applies to Juve and all the people involved in the investigations and also for this case. Juve always give respect, but we demand respect.”

Calvo also spoke of the capital gains process and the 15-point penalty, pending the appeal to the Coni guarantee college: “After each step, the company expressed itself, we issued a press release. We consider the sentence unjustified and illogical. We will continue to defend ourselves in every venue, with respect for the opposition, but we will continue to defend ourselves”.
