MOSCOW – The team Russia likely to lose dozens armored vehicle in one failed attack near the town of Vuhledar, eastern Ukraine. This was revealed by British intelligence, Friday (10/2/2023).
Vuhledar, a Ukrainian-controlled stronghold at a strategic crossroads between the eastern and southern fronts, has seen some of the bloodiest fighting of the war as Russia continues its relentless assault on the eastern front.

“Russian forces likely fled and left at least 30 mostly intact armored vehicles in one incident following the failed attack,” the UK Ministry of Defense said in a daily briefing.
Reuters could not immediately verify the British ministry’s claims. Unverified photos shared by military bloggers appear to show several armored vehicles and tanks strewn across the battlefield.
The Russian Defense Ministry has not yet commented on the report, but said military operations near Vuhledar and the eastern Ukrainian town of Bakhmut – which the Russians are trying to encircle – are going well.

The Russian blogger, who is often highly critical of the performance of the country’s military top brass in Ukraine, also spoke about the losses reported at Vuhledar.
A military blogger said on Thursday that 31 armored vehicles had been destroyed by Ukrainian drones after being sent without artillery cover, reposting an image from a Ukrainian Telegram channel reporting the battle zone.
