MILAN, 04 FEB – “I don’t see a recession, we are announcing it but there are no numbers and I don’t see it”. This was stated by the president of Confindustria, Carlo Bonomi, speaking at Assiom Forex. “We are moderately positive as an Italian industry,” adds Bonomi. “I don’t think that a 3% discount rate from the ECB is a problem if a company is healthy and has its margins”, he added, underlining however how the central institute “could improve on communication”.
