Athlete Femke Bol has set a 41-year-old world record. The 22-year-old from Amersfoort stopped the clock on the 400 meters at the NK indoor in Apeldoorn after 49.26 seconds. With that she improved the 49.59 that had been in the name of the Czech Jarmila Kratochvilova since 1982. Bol won her fourth Dutch title en passant.
