Something that according to Bella Ramsey, who plays Ellie in the series The Last of Us, delivering a performance that has been praised in different media and by a large part of the public, those who hate LGBTQ+ representation in the entertainment industry will have to get used to. She quoted that she delivered in a recent interview with GQ magazine, where she indicated that she is not “particularly anxious” about “internet hostility” towards the LGBTQ+ community.
“I know that people will think what they want to think. But they’re going to have to get used to it,” Ramsey said.
Words against the haters that he continued to reaffirm, saying that if they do not want to see the program “because it has gay stories, because it has a trans character” it only depends on them and that they are missing out, assuring that this hatred “is not going to give me fear, I think that comes from a place of defiance.”
