After a Early Access almost four years long, Barotrauma is ready to see the light with version 1.0. When? Early: March 13th. Here is the trailer to celebrate the release of the game:
For those who don’t know him, Barotrauma is a submarine simulator with 2D co-op survival horror elements inspired by games like FTL: Faster Than Light, Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress (ok version Steamin this our special find the free one and many other free titles) and Space Station 13.
Developed by FakeFish/Undertow Games and distributed by Daedalic Entertainment, the game combines ragdoll physics and alien sea monsters with teamwork and existential fear as well as a single player or co-op experience for up to 16 players. Finally Barotrauma is ready to leave Early Access and show himself to an audience – which so far has received it very positively, between positive Steam reviews and large numbers: 2.5 million players – after years of updates and improvements.
