The ESLAND, the award created by the Spanish streamer TheGrefg and that celebrates the best content creators in Spain and Latin America, continues to make people talk after finishing their gala held in Mexico this Sunday, January 29.
Gala that had as its great winner Ibai Llanos as Streamer of the year, who despite obtaining this award in a more than deserved way, has left some streamers such as the popular AuronPlay and even “Noble Giant” himself with mixed feelings. In a recent broadcast, AuronPlay said he was disappointed with the ESLAND votes, advancing that this does not leave him wanting to compete again as streamer of the year in the 2023 version.
“Per community I can win one ESLAND and ten ESLAND, if you put streamers with whom I have no relationship to vote, it is evident that they are not going to vote for me and they are going to take away all the prizes. And that is what they did yesterday, take them away from me everyone,” Auron said.

This is why he also indicates that he renounces the category “as long as he follows this voting system with people who are going to do everything possible so that I do not take it away.”
Controversy that has also been fueled by the ESLAND organizer himself, who said in a stream that “the difference in Stramer of the year has been in the jury, who have turned to Ibai, between IlloJuan, AuronPlay and El Mariana everything has been very equal in percentages”.
A situation that, as we anticipated, has also had repercussions on Ibai who, despite being clear that he deserves the award, indicated that he does not want to participate in the 2023 gala either, also leaving a few words for AuronPlay saying that: “It has to be a bit heavy that I have won again, when Auron does not have one and I do.
“Perhaps it is fair that everyone has one, but in the end they are still prizes, neither Auron nor I need them to be aware of the work we do,” he told Llanos.
But in any case, the whole year remains for the new ESLAND 2023 to be carried out, so perhaps these decisions will change over the months.
