A few days ago, we told you that AuronPlay, one of the most popular and important streamers in Spain and Latin America, announced his temporary withdrawal from broadcasting on Twitch to get away from the controversy in which he has been involved. Controversy that, as you know, is due to a series of old Twitter posts where he (from an alleged group account in which he participated) and his partner, the Bijín streamer, sent messages described as neo-Nazis.
Pause in his busy streams on his Twitch channel, which Auron himself initially said he didn’t know if it could be a couple of days or weeks, but apparently it will be even longer, since he has confirmed that he is resigning from the Squid Craft Games 2. Event that is a series of Minecraft competitions that bring together a large number of streamers, which are based on the Netflix series The Squid Game or Squid Game in English, which until now was organized by Auron himself , as well as ElRubius and Komanche.
You can read: AuronPlay returns from his “temporary retirement” announcing legal measures on Discord, because he is “tired of putting up” with those who harass him
It was precisely the latter who delivered the news, saying that AuronPlay contacted him privately to give up Squid Craft Games 2, also assuring that “it won’t be able to start in a few months. I hope everything gets fixed soon.”
Comment that can be quite accurate since the wave of hate messages against AuronPlay and Biyín has been impressive, so surely both must be quite overwhelmed, seeing how these old tweets may end their Twitch careers.
