Arsenal have been unable to win for the third game in a row. The leader of the English Premier League played a draw against Brentford at home on Saturday, 1-1.
Leandro Trossard put Arsenal ahead in the 66th minute. The Belgian finished after a cross from Bukayo Saka. Fifteen minutes before the end, Ivan Toney headed in the 1-1 after a confusing situation in front of Aaron Ramsdale’s goal.
Arsenal lost to Everton last week, their first Premier League defeat since September. Manchester City was too strong for the London formation in the FA Cup for that.
Pursuer Manchester City will play against Aston Villa on Sunday. The difference is now 6 points.
Tottenham Hotspur lost no less than 4-1 at Leicester City. After about fifteen minutes, Rodrigo Bentancur still gave the Spurs the lead. Barely 10 minutes later, the home team led. Nampalys Mendy was good for the equalizer with a nice shot, James Maddison made it 2-1 after an attack played with overview.
In the extra time of the first half, Kelechi Iheanacho even made it 3-1. After the restart it became 4-1 by Harvey Barnes.
