Kibe Software House is an independent software house with a project under the name Arcadia. The startup had recently launched a Kickstarter campaign and achieved its goal in a very short time. But what is Arcadia? Here’s how the game is described in the words of its developers:
Arcadia is a 2.5D metroidvania with which we want to recreate the atmosphere of a Sonic game, combining it with an anime aesthetic, so that it looks almost 2D. We are convinced that Arcadia will appeal to fans of Anime and Japanese culture, as well as fans of retro and indie gaming.
So some really interesting and hype-filled premises for this title, especially as regards the slice of the public it could conquer. As stated by the developers themselves, in fact, fans of Anime and Japanese culture could be seduced by this fascinating project and to support this statement there is also the short trailer released(which we leave you at the bottom of this article) which allows you to take a look at game dynamics and graphics. The images are undoubtedly colorful and the elements that pay homage and place the accent on the atmosphere of the Rising Sun are evident.
