PURWOKERTO.SUARA.COM, SEMARANG- The Sayung-Demak Section of the Semarang-Demak Toll Road in Central Java, was inaugurated directly by President Jokowi, Saturday (25/2/2023).
Jokowi appreciates the construction of the Semarang-Demak toll road because it also functions as a sea wall.
That way, it can reduce the impact of tidal flooding as a result of climate change.
Jokowi said that the Sayung-Demak Section of the Semarang-Demak Toll Road was built along 16.01 kilometers with a budget of Rp 5.9 trillion.
Jokowi then reminded all regional heads to immediately integrate production areas with agricultural, plantation and tourism areas.

Thus, the existence of the toll road can really be felt by the community.
“So the benefits of the toll road really provide speed both in transportation, logistics and in carrying production from the agricultural, plantation and industrial area programs that we have,” he said (irumacezza)
