Halit and Ender are the perfect marriage in everyone’s eyes. When they get together at events with people outside their family, they brag about the unique gifts they give each other and how happy they are. Nothing could be further from the truth.
After a dinner held at his house, Halit demands that Ender return the ring he was wearing to pretend he had given it to him. That’s something they often do, even though Ender disagrees with the situation. “Any woman would do anything to be in your shoes,” Halit tells her.
Not content with that, Ender’s husband criticizes his physical appearance: “You’ve started to age quickly, do something to your face, botox or whatever.” Halit reproaches him for there being almost no age difference between them!
Holding back the urge to cry, Ender tries to appear unaffected by her husband’s words. She thinks about the plan she has in place and asks her husband what she thinks of Yildiz. “I think you’re going to get along very well,” she tells him.
For Ender, making his plan to separate from Halit work is his best hope of escaping the situation he finds himself in. Will she manage to pull it off without her husband suspecting anything?
