ROME, FEBRUARY 20 – Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania (Disney) does not disappoint expectations: the new Marvel Studios film, an epic adventure in the subatomic Quantum Realm, is at the top of the (also) Italian box office with 2,400,770 in 5 days already come to exceed 3 million in total. In second place is the comedy by Alessandro Siani, released on February 14, Via Amicizia (01 Distribution) which is close to one million euros (985,399), is the only Italian film in the top 10, and is in total at 1,382,204. Third place for Not so close (A man called Otto) distributed by Warner Bros with 432 thousand euros in 4 days. Preceded by these three new entries, the Titanic reissued for the 25th anniversary slips from first to fourth place: 278,836 thousand euros over the weekend and 1 million 459 thousand overall. From second to fifth place Gli spiriti dell’isola (Disney) with takings of 268 thousand euros and a total of 1,685,029. Third to sixth was Magic Mike – The Last Dance (Warner Bros) with 179,435 and a total of 625,943 in three weeks. Another 107 thousand euros for Avatar – La Via dell’acqua dropped to ninth place from sixth but still in the top ten for 10 weeks: in Italy the total takings of James Cameron’s film are over 44 million euros, in third place always according to yesterday’s data.
