There is no doubt that one of the best-known streamers in Twitch is Kaitlyn Siragusa (better known as Amouranth), whose career on the platform has been the subject of numerous controversies, which led to the suspension of her account up to five times.
Despite this, she never ended up being permanently banned by Twitch. This is something that the streamer Indiefoxx cannot say, which was banished forever from the platform because of Amouranth herself, who was her main competitor in the world of streaming.
The strategy that Amouranth used to get Twitch to permanently ban Indiefoxx
Indiefoxx was a rising Twitch star creating content similar to Amouranth’s and even accused Siragusa of “shamelessly” copying his streams as the two fought over viewers.
However, Amouranth managed to win the streaming war by getting its main competitor to cause its own ban on Twitch. In a recent interview with Dexerto, the streamer revealed how he goaded his rival to go too far on Twitch, resulting in a permanent ban from the platform.
“What I found funny is that we were doing similar content and towards the end of that drama, there was this goal of licking each other’s ears in bed, all the girls were doing it.
I was one of the first to get banned and so was she, so I backed out and started creating safer content, but she kept going and pushed the envelope. So I went back in time, but since she didn’t, she got banned.
So I guess you could say that I invited her to get bannedbut I was just trying to back out,” the streamer said of the permanent ban from Indiefoxx.
