ROME, 03 FEB – “We are destroyed by pain, my son had absolutely nothing to do with it”. These are the words of Paolo Bricca, the father of Thomas – the 19-year-old shot dead in Alatri – during the demonstration held today in the central square of the Ciociaria municipality. “We prayed so much that there might be a miracle – he said – but unfortunately fate took it away from us. Thomas was friends with everyone, good and bad. Maybe he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. We don’t want any revenge. Let my son’s death serve as an example.” (HANDLE).
