The complete first season of the series is now available on HBO Max. Traitors. An exciting psychological game in which 18 celebrities compete as they try to guess who they can trust among their peers. The actor and director Sergio Peris-Mencheta, star of Rambo: The last blood, Limitless or the upcoming The Meg 2: The Trench, together with Jason Statham, is the Master of this live role-playing game that will test each of the contestants.

THE TRAITORS is a relentless psychological game in which participants must decide who they can trust. It is a format originally developed by IDTV and All3Media for RTL4 in the Netherlands. Versions have already been ordered in the UK, US, Belgium and Australia. Now, THE TRAITORS arrives in Spain, with 8 installments produced by Gestmusic (Banijay Iberia) for the HBO Max platform in Spain. The adaptation has been shot in a monumental medieval castle, with the participation of 18 famous contestants and directed by the actor and director Sergio Peris-Mencheta.
THE TRAITORS was created by Marc Pos, idtv Chief Executive, and Jasper Hoogendoorn, Creative Director. The format has been further developed with RTL’s creative unit and produced by IDTV. Premiering in March 2021 as De Verraders on RTL4, it drew an impressive 43% share among adults 25-54 and 50% among 16-24s. After the first two episodes aired, it was renewed for a second season. IDTV is currently producing the third installment of The Traitors.

It is an exciting psychological adventure in which betrayal and deceit are the rules of the game. Eighteen celebrities gather in a disturbing castle, whose profiles, professions and personalities are focused to benefit the game. Your mission is to complete a series of challenges with the goal of earning a loot of silver bars. However, some of them are designated as traitors among the faithful, and with this, a game of lies, conspiracies, betrayals and alliances begins to reach the end. The traitors aim to kill, one by one, all the faithful. The faithful, for their part, must discover and banish the traitors. In this exciting psychological format, will the faithful manage to unmask the traitors in time?
All3Media International distributes THE TRAITORS format worldwide and markets the film in UK, US and Australian adaptations. In the United Kingdom, the premiere attracted 3.8 million viewers, with a 24.3% share, which exceeded the average for the strip by 22%. becoming one of BBC One’s top ten unscripted programs among adults aged 16-34 from January 2022 to date.
The Traitors has won the C21 Awards International Format Award for Best Reality Quiz Format in 2022 and the Rose d’Or for Best Reality and Factual Program of 2022.
