Freud
Freud is not a focused series with the intention that we follow it to the letter to learn about the life of its protagonist, who gives it its name. There are aspects that are real and others that are considered fiction licences. Set in 1886, the main character is a detective (something that never really happened) who uses his theories with the intention of finding out and investigating murders. The psychoanalyst is the protagonist of this story where we also see other historical figures such as Lou Andreas-Salome although she is “versioned” for fiction. Freud is not, therefore, a miniseries that is 100% true to reality, but it is an interesting and entertaining series that we can watch on Netflix with nuances and overtones of horror.
