Wild Hearts is the new monster hunting game from Koei Tecmo, which has been recently released on the popular platform Steam. However, despite the good references expressed in the game reviews and intentions of the proposal, PC gamers have reported several technical problems that have affected their gaming experience. The result has been a wave of negative reviews from users.
Regarding this, the 3DJuegos site did an investigation, which resulted in only 41% of the users who have reviewed the game on Steam who have rated it positively. Out of a total of 4,699 reviews, approximately 58% have been negative and have mainly focused on game optimization issues. Players have reported constant FPS drops and stutters, which has affected the quality of the gaming experience.
Faced with this situation, the game’s development team, Omega Force, has acknowledged the problems and has announced a solution. In a statement posted on Reddit, they have claimed to be continually working on improving performance and optimizing the game for a wide variety of hardware specs in future updates. They have also announced the release of a patch that will fix a CPU bottleneck issue they have discovered, improving performance on upper-middle-range CPUs. Additionally, the team is actively working on support for DLSS and FSR, which will be coming in a future patch.
In short, despite the poor optimization of the game on the PC platform that has led to negative reviews from users, Wild Hearts is a solid monster hunting game. However, thanks to the fixes that Omega Force is implementing to improve game optimization, the gaming experience on the PC platform is expected to improve significantly. Players can look forward to future updates and patches that fix the reported technical issues and enjoy the offering that Koei Tecmo has created.
