MOSCOW – Russia is a very large and powerful ex-Soviet country. Apparently, there were several other ex-Soviet states that became “enemies” of Russia and also sanctioned that country for its attack on Ukraine.
Here are 4 countries that are “enemies” of Russia.
1. Ukraine
Ukraine is a former Soviet Union country which is still at war with Russia. As is known, Russia began launching attacks on Ukraine since February 2022.
The reason, is to protect ethnic Russians. In addition, Russia also does not want Ukraine to join NATO.
According to data listed on the United Nations Human Rights website, the total number of victims in Ukraine from 24 February 2022 to 2 January 2023 reached 17,994 people.
Of these, 6,919 people were declared dead, while the rest were injured. Most of the victims who fell were hit by explosions of air attacks, multiple rockets, and missiles.
2. Lithuania
It did not explicitly mention Russia as an enemy, but relations with Lithuania, the country led by Vladimir Putin, were strained.
In June 2022, Lithuania decided to stop transporting some goods through its territory to Kaliningrad in Russia.
