SuaraSumedang.id – Persija Jakarta has recruited new player Witan Sulaeman, who is the last name in the hunt for the 2022-2023 BRI Liga 1 transfer market.
Witan Sulaeman was brought in by Persija to participate in the tight competition in the second round of League 1 this season.
Witan himself is the fourth player brought in by the Kemayoran Tigers to fill in the depth of coach Thomas Doll’s squad.
Witan Sulaeman will wear Persija’s red uniform for the next 3.5 years.

The career journey of the player who was born in Palu, Central Sulawesi had gone through training in football knowledge at the Ragunan Training and Education Center.
Then, he was monitored by the then coach of the U-19 national team, Indra Sjafri, to join the Garuda Muda Indonesia squad.
Witan entered the world of professional football in 2019, where he played for PSIM Yogyakarta in League 1.
In 2020 Witan moved from PSIM to taste the life of professional football in Europe, to be precise in the Serbian League with FK Radnik Surdulica.
While there he played twice and bagged 71 minutes of play.

A year later, he joined the Polish club, Lechia Gdansk, where his compatriot Egy Maulana Vikri also played for the same team.
However, after only half a season, and having yet to appear, Witan was loaned to a club from Slovakia, FK Senica.
Witan’s record at FK Senica is quite prominent. He appeared to defend his club 2 times, and scored four goals and one assist.
After the loan period ended at FC Senica on May 11 2022, Witan also moved to another Slovak club, namely AS Trencin.
While strengthening AS Trencin, Witan played 14 times with a record of four goals in 458 minutes of play.
Apart from having a good record during his career at the club level, Witan is also a regular for the Indonesian national team under the direction of Shin Tae-yong.
Witan has made his debut in the national team since he was 15 years old, when he appeared in Indonesia in the U-29 group.
Until now, Witan has presented the 2019 AFF U-22 Cup, 2019 SEA Games silver medal, and 2020 AFF Cup runner-up.
Management and the coaching team hope that a player nicknamed Baby Shark can add power to the Kemayoran Tigers’ attack line to make it more productive.
