Over the last few years there has been a growing debate about whether it’s better to play keyboard and mouse or controller shooters. Something that in some PC ports of popular games like Warzone, this discussion has grown due to certain aspects such as the delay of actions when pressing a fire button on the mouse or aim assist for controllers.
A feature that a pro player of Nick Dashy’s Warzone 2 indicated a few months ago, means that to play this title on PC, perhaps we should change the keyboard and mouse for a controller, due to what he calls a “broken” aim assist that benefits the latter.

Theory that is also shared by the expert and youtuber TrueGameData, who carried out an input lag test in Warzone 1 and 2, recording himself playing the titles and using a high-speed camera. And thanks to this test, he came to the conclusion that the control of the PlayStation 5 outperforms the mouse and the keyboard and mouse, as well as the Xbox controllers.
As he indicated in the video where he shows the experiment, he was surprised by the delay in mouse input, also adding that “it was already quite known that the Xbox One and Xbox Elite controls were a little slower than the PS5 controls.”
So now you know, if you are a PC gamer and you have a PS5 controller, you could improve your performance in Warzone quite a bit using that console’s controller, which according to the expert “is worth trying to make a trade for this one, since That’s a big difference.”
