SuaraCianjur – Mayor of Depok, Mohammad Idris, became the target of netizens after a viral video billboard thanking him for the construction of the Underpass on Jalan Dewi Sartika. Many insinuated that the billboards were made by Idris.
One of the viral videos was uploaded by the Depok24jam Instagram account. The video shows a giant billboard complete with a photo of Mohammad Idris.
“Ahead of the inauguration, a billboard appeared thanking the Mayor of Depok for the construction of the Dewi Sartika underpass. The location is not far from the underpass exit,” wrote a video statement from the Depok Instagram account, quoted cianjur.voice.com, Tuesday (17/1/2023).
Until this news was compiled, the video received 8,747 likes and 3,361 comments. The politician from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) was not free from the “thumb target” of netizens.

“It’s a pity that no one said anything. Instead, they said it themselves,” wrote the popomangun.png account.
“He made it, he bought it, he installed it, he is proud,” said the bhimochi account.
“Say thank you for yourself,” said the sidmanaf account.
Apart from that, there were also those who asked which Depok residents felt represented by the thank-you billboards.

Quoted from the official website of the Depok City Government, the Dewi Sartika Underpass was built with a budget from the West Java Provincial Government of IDR 108.6 billion. Meanwhile, the Depok City Government is carrying out land acquisition with a total budget of IDR 189 billion.
