BEIJING, 30 JAN – The United States, which says it wants to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, “should stop sending weapons and reap the benefits of war”. This is the comment of the Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, according to whom “it is necessary to promote as soon as possible an easing of the situation in a responsible way and to create favorable conditions and environment for the parties concerned to be able to negotiate peacefully”. Mao, in the daily briefing, defined the US as “the greatest promoter of the crisis in Ukraine” in the belief that the shipment of arms causes “a constant increase in the duration and intensity of the conflict”.
