With a view to an internal reorganization linked to the disappointing financial results of the company, Ubisoft has confirmed that it has Project Q battle arena has been cancelled.
Announced last April, this multiplayer video game has always remained shrouded in mystery, although the publisher has held a series of tests behind closed doors which evidently have not met with the desired success. “We can confirm that we will no longer support the development of Project Q in order to focus on other priority projects, on which our teams have been reallocated,” a Ubisoft spokesperson told the notebooks of Eurogamer.
Ubisoft is going through a difficult period, so much so that the workers of Ubisoft Paris have called a strike to protest against the company’s management. The same management which, in the person of CEO Yves Guillemot, he recently apologized for the controversial comments declared in the aftermath of the publication of the latest financial results, without however managing to appease the spirits of the employees.
