The use of Artificial Intelligence to quickly create deepfakes on a smartphone, for example, is a practice that attracts the attention of many people since its results can be quite funny. But on the other hand, if these are used in a bad way, for example, using the faces of famous women on naked bodies in adult movies, they end up directly affecting these people.
Something that the famous streamer Atrioc apparently took lightly since during one of his transmissions, he entered a website that is dedicated to selling deepfake images and videos of female content creators such as Pokimane. Situation for which she had to apologize, after a clip where she is seen looking at the site went viral.

During a broadcast in which his girlfriend was present, Atrioc apologized saying that “this is so embarrassing”, assuring that his interest was more than anything to see how Artificial Intelligence applied to art and these deepfakes worked, but without realizing it happened from being “on a regular website, and there was an ad on every video”, to then ending up clicking on one of these.
“It gave me a morbid curiosity and I clicked on something. It’s disgusting and I’m sorry. He is very embarrassing,” the streamer said.
In addition, he indicated that it was not a regular “pattern of behavior” and that he had no excuse for having bought access to the site and that “I am not defending it in any way, I think that this whole category of things is wrong.”
After the apology, which also went viral in a clip, several streamers referred to and who did not know about this site responded in amazement, such as Sweet Anita, who said on her Twitter account that “this story was how I found out about I’m on this website. I literally choose to pass up millions by not engaging in sex work and instead have a random cheeto encrusted porn addict solicit my body without my consent. I don’t know whether to cry, break things or laugh at this moment.”
