LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga It was one of the most successful games of the past year: it received great reviews and sold tens of millions of copies, and is currently on the best-seller lists for all platforms (including Switch).
However, it has not been a path of roses for his study TT Gameswhich had to delay it for two consecutive years, going through periods of continuous crunch.
And his future is even more uncertain. Although they will eventually continue working on LEGO games, their next game is not too innovative: it will be a LEGO Batman new, according to a leak… that says they canceled an ambitious game of LEGO Disney.
Specifically, an (alleged) TT Games employee has stated that the following will be that game of LEGO Batmanand that LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga will receive The Mandalorian DLC. But what about LEGO Disney…

This could be the canceled LEGO Disney in TT Games
This rumor stems from comments on a Fanbyte article from January 2022, in which employees denounced TT Games management’s incompetence and poor working conditions, which resulted in continued delays and issues in the development of LEGO Star. Wars (which we summarize here).
Well, in the comments, an alleged employee of TT Games, under the name of Holy Pews, said that his next game is LEGO Disneycodenamed Project Marley, a mix of many classic Disney characters, such as Mickey Mouse, Pirates of the Caribbean, Maleficent, The Jungle Book, Nightmare before Christmas… (y sin Marvel o Star Wars).
But in a new comment, published on January 13 (and discovered by est1992 on Resetera) they said that the LEGO Disney game had been canceled in 2022, partly because “it was a shit show”, and partly because it was similar (but worst) to Disney Dreamlight Valley.
For that reason, TT Games (and its owners WB Games) decided to cancel it, and focus on a new LEGO Batman game, as well as The Mandalorian DLC for the latest LEGO Star Wars (no word on whether more new characters or levels).
Stephen Sharples, a former employee of TT Games, referred directly to this leak on Twittergiving him credit.
LEGO Disney It would also be the fourth game quietly canceled by TT Games in the last three years. A very ambitious game that would celebrate the tradition of classic Disney characters (who have only appeared in LEGO The Incredibles before), but was scrapped.
In fact, according to a review by TT Games on GlassDoor (via Reddit), TT Games would have gone on to make only LEGO games based on Warner IPsas a rule by the new directive of Warner Bros. Discovery… which closes the doors to more LEGO Marvel, LEGO Indiana Jones or LEGO Star Wars games…
…and makes it more likely that the next LEGO games from TT Games will be from DC Comics or Harry Potter. Would you have liked to see a LEGO Disney?
