There is an anime-exclusive character that Toyotaro might add in future Dragon Ball Super stories.
We have spoken to you several times about the canon de Dragon Ball. Basically the canonical history of the franchise focuses on its manga to go to Dragon Ball SuperAlso the manga. From there, there are several spin-offs como Jaco o Dragon Ball Minus that act as a prequel. The Dragon Ball and Z anime have something called “filler”, stories that are not part of the canonicity of the product and that are usually used to expand the main product or so that the anime does not catch the manga. There is a very dear character from the filler that we had not seen for many years and Toyotaro has rescued him:
every month the mangaka draw a character from the franchise and this time it was up to Icarus, the Great Dragon. If you don’t remember, it appears in the saga of Garlic Jr. Immortal (before Namek), at one point in the android saga and is mentioned in passing at the beginning of the Buu saga. Besides in the anime he also has moments of him in 3 Z movies, which as you know, are not canon either.
Toyotarou mentions that this was a request and he drew Icarus how he thought it would look in the current time.
If it comes in a future story, there’s a chance that it might not be this big at all. https://t.co/RHEiE4ywxE

This version of the character he created is Toyotaro’s vision of what he thinks he would look like, many years later. The most interesting thing about it is that he says that if he appears in a new story, he wouldn’t draw it so big. If that happened, it would make Icarus a canonical character, since as we have said, this cute dragon has never appeared in the manga.
