WASHINGTON – A man United States of America (USA) Swallowing a whole banana that is wrapped condom for being angry.
The unusual action of this 34-year-old man caused him to be rushed to the hospital (RS).
The incident involving the contraceptive device, considered a world first, was published in the journal Cureus earlier this week.
“A literature search on condom-associated intestinal obstruction yielded numerous reported cases in which condoms were filled with drugs; some reports, however, involved liquid-filled condoms. To our knowledge, this case appears to be the first case in which a banana-filled condom was swallowed,” the authors wrote. in the study, which was reported by NDTV, Monday (30/1/2023).

The man, who was not named, appeared at the emergency department (ER) of a local hospital suffering from stomach pain, nausea and vomiting which he said had started seven hours earlier.
She was in so much pain that she couldn’t eat or drink, and she said she hadn’t even gone to the toilet since the previous day.
According to the study, when the doctors performed a CT scan, they found that the man had a banana wrapped in a condom that was blocking his small intestine.
They revealed that the “otherwise healthy man” admitted to having swallowed a banana wrapped in a condom during a “hormonal tantrum” 24 hours prior.
Doctors noted the man had a “history of depression” but said he denied any intention to harm himself or any previous history of ingesting foreign objects.
The man even insisted that he was not on drugs at the time nor was he drunk.
Luckily, surgeons were able to remove the banana-filled condom from his small intestine. He was discharged three days after removal, whereupon he recovered to the point where he could eat and have bowel movements without any problems.
