On Monday evening there was an earthquake measuring 5.6 in the sea south of the island of Malta. The hypocenter was identified 9 kilometers deep. The earthquake, writes Malta Today, was felt in various places on the island, and comes after many other tremors of magnitude greater than 4 in recent days and also in the last few hours.
