The last time he sat on the rossoblù bench was 1991. And at his “premiere” of the new adventure in Sardinia, the coach who won the Premier League with Leicester cannot hold back his emotion
The last time he sat on the Cagliari bench in 1991: he was still playing until a few seasons before, he was an emerging coach who had taken the Sardinians two years earlier in C1 and had led them first to B, then to the top division and finally to salvation. Almost 32 years later, Claudio Ranieri returns to coach the rossoblùs, and he returns after having lifted cups at all latitudes, after having coached teams such as Chelsea, Juve and Inter, after having achieved the most beautiful feat of the Premier League with Leicester last years of football.
