Bad news for Square Enix fans: as reported by the project’s official website, NieR Automata Ver1.1a anime will be paused indefinitely due to production issues inside the studio. This is due to various delays due to the impact of the new coronavirus outbreak in the Japanese country. Thus, from the issuance of the chapter 4 (which will take place on January 28) we will not receive more chapters for a period of time yet to be determined. The official NieR Twitter account will inform fans about when the broadcast will reopen.
