The most interesting easter egg in The Last of Us
Perhaps one of the most curious is a nod to The Beatles, the iconic musical group. As the end of the episode approaches, the importance of music grows as it is revealed that every song Joel hears on the radio is a sign.
At one point, Ellie picks up a book of Joel’s hit songs and takes a look at it. On the page that opens the book there is a song by The Beatles known as “The Long and Winding Road” (The long and windy road).
Indeed, you can already guess where the easter egg is going. The song, the title of this famous subject, is a reference to the long road that players must face from The Last of Us with Joel and Ellie and that will take you across the country.
