The storm that has left the storm ‘Fien’ in recent hours has caused snowfall and frost that pose a risk to many drivers. The General Directorate of Traffic asks that extreme caution be exercised and that we not leave the house if it is not essential. In the center of the Peninsula, the snowfall has intensified and it is essential to be prepared on the road.
The reporter for Espejo Público, Raúl García, has gone to the port of Navacerrada to see how drivers deal with these inclement weather conditions. There he meets a family that comes from Seville to see the snow. It is Manuel, the grandfather, who puts the chains on the caravan.
One of the members of the vehicle points out that the most important thing to drive in this adverse weather is to carry the tanks full of water, the fuel tank to the maximum and keep the heating on to warm up.
Roberto Brasero points out that in the next few hours the snowfall will continue in the north of the Peninsula although the snow will remain in the rest. This storm is also going to be withdrawn in the northwest: Galicia, Cantabria and León.
In the interior of the Basque Country they will continue until the afternoon pending the snowfall that may fall. The rain is going to come down hard in the afternoon in Asturias, Galicia, León and the Basque Country.
