JAKARTA – Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Chief Minister of Johor at Malaysia has gone viral after giving a speech in Javanese.
More than 3,700 people have liked the video of the speech, which was posted on the Instagram account @viralpressid.
Ghazi delivers an official speech before the state legislature of Johor, Malaysia. It is not clear when the speech was delivered.
Actually, most of his speech was in Malay, but interspersed with sentences in Javanese. Who is the real figure of Onn Hafiz Ghazi?
Ghazi is a prominent Malaysian politician and a member of the United Malays National Organization (UMNO), the country’s largest political party. He is currently the Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency of Bukit Gantang in Perak State.

He entered politics in the 1990s and his political career shone in UMNO. He has held a number of key positions within the party, including Deputy Youth Leader and member of the Supreme Council.
Ghazi was elected as Member of Parliament for Bukit Gantang in the 2008 general election, and since then he has been re-elected in every election.
He is well known in Parliament for his staunch support for rural development and the rights of peasants and rural people. He has also been a staunch critic of government corruption, calling for greater transparency and accountability in government.
Ghazi is also known as a successful entrepreneur. He is the founder and owner of several construction companies and real estate developers.
