Rumors of a new installment of The Crew have grown and it seems that a major announcement about the name change of the next installment could happen.
As posted by Insider Gaming, according to data miner @ScriptLeaksR6 on Twitter, The Crew’s next game will be officially titled The Crew Motorfest, with the in-universe “Motorfest” branding and logo supposedly appearing in-game on license plates. , billboards, game menus, and more. The game’s logo also appears to have leaked; Check out below.
Internally called Project Orlando during development, previous reports have claimed that The Crew Motorfest supposedly began development as DLC for The Crew 2, before becoming its own full project later on. Insider Gaming claims that the game is set on the island of Oahu in Hawaii and has been built on a new engine.
Supposedly, based on data mining from the game’s internal program, it is suggested that an official announcement could be made as early as next week. Ubisoft has previously said that it has an unannounced AAA game scheduled for release in fiscal year 2024 (April 2023-March 2024), with The Crew Motorfest reportedly being that title.
