Striking Distance Studios has added a New Game Plus mode to The Callisto Protocol. Previously expected to arrive in early February, the New Game Plus mode is available ahead of schedule as part of the title’s version 3.01 update.
After downloading the patch, users who have previously completed the game will be able to carry their progression over to a new save, with all of Callisto’s weapons, upgrades, and credits collectible in the first Reforge Season.
The update also includes several fixes, including one that fixes an issue that prevented some players from earning the “Protocol Is About Life” achievement.
Striking Distance said that it has made general performance optimizations on all platforms, and that players no longer take damage when jumping over obstacles.
It also “fixed several issues where certain camera angles or progression paths could cause environments to overflow and allow Jacob to fall through the ground.”
Callisto Protocol’s DLC plans were detailed when the game launched in early December. At the time, Striking Distance said that New Game Plus would launch alongside the Hardcore modes as part of a free update on February 7.
