For 2023, the small KTM sports new graphics and is enriched with a new, more off-road oriented version with black anodized aluminum spoked wheels, 19″ at the front and 17″ at the rear

Introduced in 2019, the KTM Adventure 390 he immediately represented the entry level of the Travel family of the Austrian House: after an update in 2022 on colors, electronics and wheels, they now arrive with the 2023 model an interesting version with spoked wheels, even more off-road oriented, and new liveries.
The new spoked wheels
The platform formed by remains unchangedl steel trellis frame – equipped with a removable rear frame – and from the well-known 373.2 cm³ 4-stroke single cylinder, equipped with double overhead camshaft, four valves, countershaft to limit vibrations, electronic injection with 46 mm throttle body and slipper clutch, which delivers a maximum power of 44 HP at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm (therefore compatible with the A2 license). The gearbox is six-speed (available on Quickshifter+ in the Powerparts catalogue) and fuel consumption of 3.37 l/100 km is declared which, thanks to the 14.5-litre tank, translates into a range of at least 400 km.
On the level of electronic equipment the KTM 390 Adventure 2023 is equipped with Ride by Wire accelerator control, Traction Control, Cornering ABS, OFFROAD mode and relative OFFROAD ABS, all of which can also be managed via the 5″ color TFT display located behind the windshield adjustable in two positions and the Full LED lighting system.
The suspension department sees the WP APEX at work, with single shock absorber and 43mm fork adjustable in compression, rebound and preload; the braking system is Bible with 320 mm disc and four-piston caliper at the front, and 230 mm at the rear.
New for MY 2023 are the new spoked wheels in black anodized aluminum, 19” front and 17” rear (but the version with alloy wheels also remains in the price list) and the new graphics, while weight is 172 kg with a full tank and the minimum saddle height is 830 mm.
The KTM 390 Adventure will be available from the KTM dealer network starting from February in the Black/Orange and Blue/Orange colors for the version with die-cast alloy wheels and in the Orange color for the version with spoked rims. Prices are from 7.450 euro f.c. for the version with die-cast alloy wheels and di 7.950 euro f.c. for the version with spoked wheels.
