It will be this Friday, January 27, when, as part of the telenovela “My way is to love you” that is broadcast at 8:30 p.m., by Las Estrellas, the actress Rosa Gloria Chagoyán will reappear on the small screen to once again embody her iconic character from “Lola the trailer”in what promises to be a night of high ratings for the number one melodrama on national television.
In interview with THE REPORTERthe Mexican singer and actress stated that she is “very happy for this invitation that the producer, Nicandro Díaz González, made me to join – permanently – the telenovela with my character, with everything and trailer.”

In this sense, for a professional whose career includes other iconic roles such as “The Avenging Warrior”, Playing “Lola” has been significant -said Chagoyán- because “she is the best and most beloved character I have, the one with whom I most identify. In addition, it was the first, he has been by my side all my life, and every time I go on tour, to jaripeos or palenques, the public always demands that I arrive in my trailer”.
Thus, the public’s fidelity to this role responds in part, explains the actress, “to the fact that for a time she became an icon of women’s liberation, because at that time ‘Lola’ managed to open the doors for women to be able to do more things like driving a trailer, having a political career, being an executive of an important company… in short; I think all of that is something that the character always projected.”
And that is on the one hand, Chagoyán details, “but it also had to do with the family of trailer drivers, which is very close, not only in Mexico; there is support, mutual help and they take care of each other, and I also have that affection. In fact, I am the godmother of the new tractor-trailer operators, as there are associations that train operators, fellow trailer drivers who invite me to give them a “kick” of good luck, because it is a difficult job that they carry out with great care. professionalism. I am very lucky”.

Now, the singer and actress says that she is “very proud” to join the cast of a soap opera that is in the first place of preferences; “Y the novel is precisely about a family of trailer drivers, a hard-working Mexican family with many values. These characters defend their values and are full of love; and my character meets the character of ‘Don Beto’ -Sergio Reynoso- and they recognize each other and remember old times from which friendship is reborn”.
