Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift premiered the music video for “Lavender Haze” from her latest album “Midnights” on Friday at midnight.
“Lavender Haze” is the second song from the album to have its own video clip after the hit single “Anti-Hero” with which Taylor Swift broke records and topped the global popularity charts for several weeks.
The song “Lavender Haze” as revealed by Taylor before its premiere, is a phrase from the 1950s used to describe the “perfect” state of being in love in couples. As the singer revealed, “Lavender Haze” is about ignoring people’s opinion and staying in her infatuation bubble called lavender haze. The lyrics perfectly narrate the relationship between Taylor and her current partner for several years, the British actor Joe Alwynwith whom he has maintained a fairly private relationship away from the cameras.

The song was written in collaboration with his partner Joe Alwyn, who signs with the pseudonym Jack Antonoff. Additionally, actress Zoë Kravitz is also credited as a songwriter.
Taylor Swift is known for including hidden clues in her lyrics and music videos, and “Lavender Haze” was no exception. At the beginning of the video, the title “Mastermind” is read on the cover of an acetate disc, which is why the singer’s fans speculate that the next video clip to be released could be that of the song “Mastermind”.
