A recent leak of an image of Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League would seem to confirm that the title is a live service game or at least elements that would make it a GaaS (Game as a Service). The title in question is developed by Rocksteadythe creators of the series Batman Arkham.
The image, which you can see in the tweet below, comes from the 4chan forum and appears to be real. In fact, it would show the Suicide Squad menu characterized by standard elements such as game mode selection, chapter selection, difficulty and matchmaking but also other menus at the top of the screen where you can find the wording “Battle Pass“. Under this menu there are also various currencies to use in the game.
According to the sources of VGC, the battle pass is planned but will focus on cosmetic rewards, such as skins. The currencies, which are visible in the image refer to “XP used to upgrade and customize each anti-hero’s skill trees, effectively making them unique to the player“.Rocksteady has revealed very little information about their new project leaving many to speculate on the true nature of the game and many think it is just a live service game.
We can only wait for clarifications from the developers and, in the meantime, we remind you that Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League is coming for PS5, PC e Xbox Series X/S il 26 maggio 2023.
