The old building of Ichthus College dates from 1968 and was in dire need of replacement. Yet the building has not been completely demolished. The skeleton is still there and will soon form the basis of the new building. That is more complex than completely demolishing and building new, but it does save raw materials. It is one of the ways in which the building becomes sustainable and circular. The students from 5 VWO received a lesson about sustainability on Tuesday, at the construction site.
