Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, is one of the most anticipated games of all of 2023. Unfortunately for fans who are dying to play it, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment made the decision to delay it.
Through a statementRespawn Entertainment confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now arrive on April 28, 2022. Recall that originally the new chapter in the story of Cal Kestis was scheduled to debut on March 17.
This means that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will arrive just over a month later than expected. Fortunately, this delay will surely mean a higher quality project upon release.

Why was Star Wars Jedi: Survivor delayed?
Now, what was the reason why Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was delayed? Surely you already know the answer, or at least you sense it.
In their statement, Respawn and Electronic Arts confirmed that the additional month of development will allow them to reach the bar of quality they are looking for. With this, they want to deliver the level of polish that their fans deserve.
“To meet Respawn’s bar of quality, give the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we added a crucial 6 weeks to our release schedule. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now be out on April 28 globally,” Respawn said.
It is worth mentioning that Respawn is currently in the final stage of development for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This means that they are fixing bugs, improving performance and stability, as well as seeking to polish the player experience.
