Tasikmalaya Voice – Sonia Sugian was elected as Chairperson of the DPC KPPI Sumedang Regency replacing Anyeu Widuri whose term of office had ended, in the Conference of the DPC KPPI Branch of Sumedang Regency at the PPS Hall. Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
After receiving the KPPI’s banner, Sonia admitted that there were many challenges to form the Sub-Branch Leadership Council, which for the last three periods had not been formed.
“I want to form DPACs throughout Sumedang Regency and their administrators down to the village level, within a period of time, my target is one year. So within one year it will be a challenge for me, I will tidy up all DPACs down to the village level,”
He reasoned that the formation of the DPAC, so that the DPC KPPI organization for Sumedang Regency which he currently leads becomes clear. “Because what is an organization without members?” he said.

Sonia admitted that she was optimistic that she would be able to improve the DPC KPPI in Sumedang district, moreover that among the other two candidates she was stated as one of the participants with the most complete administration.
The support of 9 out of 13 contested votes also became a polemic. “I need to convey this to the media so that suudzon does not occur or there are no suspicions or negative thoughts. That is my basis, that in the Muscab arena it is like this. I have attended this level of wrestling several times. In the past, I have also forward to become a candidate for party chairman. Then to become another chairman through Muscab, and all the systems are the same. Where you have to start from personal data, then education, CV, vision and mission, integrity facts and most importantly support,” he said.
He admitted to actively moving, both by communicating directly, and communicating with voters and party leaders to lobby and request support in writing from each political party.
“Of the 13 political parties that have the right to support, I have managed to collect 9 written supports on stamps from these political parties,” he explained. ***
