The return of Silent Hill was news awaited by fans for years and at least by expectation it is not left as there are several proposals in development, including a remake of the second installment. Given the importance that this title has for the franchise and its community, Konami has not been slow to reactivate it commercially and has recently announced a relaunch of the original soundtrack, obtaining the desired response from fans.

Limited Edition Silent Hill 2 Soundtrack Sold Out Immediately
A few days ago and as part of the hype for the return of Silent Hill, Konami announced the reprint of the original Silent Hill 2 soundtrack on 500 limited edition vinyl records, a true collector’s item that brings together the themes that marked the dramatic and terrifying from the second game, all under the composition and supervision of Akira Yamaoka. Well, since it was a very small print run, it didn’t take long for the community to turn around to get their record and it practically took 2 minutes for all the pieces to run out.

Now that the Silent Hill 2 remake is in development, attention is turned to Bloober Team, a studio entrusted with a tremendous mission. However, the development team is confident that the project will meet expectations as they have ensured that it will be faithful to the original game, so there should be no surprises that may upset fans as it must be taken into account that it is the delivery most loved and respected by the majority.
On the other hand, Bloober revealed that among the novelties that have been considered for the Silent Hill 2 remake is the inclusion of more terrifying creatures.
