“I can recommend anyone with financial difficulties to make an appointment with Geldfit,” says Shamal. “This is where I get the help I need.” The municipality of Deventer also sees that other groups of people than before are faced with money worries. “Due to the energy crisis and the sharp rise in the cost of living, more people are having problems with their finances,” said alderman Rob de Geest. “We hope that people will seek help from Geldfit, even before they really get into trouble.”
