The social reactions to Shakira’s song: she has already won!
Shakira hit the mark with the new single. In addition to the millions of views, everyone is only talking about the song and especially the text, which very directly attacks the former partner Gerard Pique and new girlfriend Clara Chia. The not at all veiled allusions have forced social networks to take sides and, from an initial assessment, the Colombian pop star is the winner.
In her new single Shakira mentions brands to reduce the value of her ex-boyfriend and his new partner. From a Ferrari to a Twingo, in a nutshell. Or from a Rolex to a Casio. And even the famous brands mentioned wanted to have their say on social media, taking it ironically and not missing out on a wonderful opportunity to do some marketing…
The Spanish Renault account therefore proposes the Twingo “for guys and girls like you” and suggests “turning up the volume”…
Space also for the sparkling answers that play on the comparison between Casio watches and the Rolex giants: “Shakira, we are not a Rolex but clearly our customers are loyal to us. In defense of our watches, the battery lasts longer than the relationship between Piqué and Shakira”.
And Ryanair, always attentive to social catchphrases, has a suggestion for Piqué:
