The uproar caused by the recent collaboration between Shakira and the Argentinian DJ BZRP, since she “throws” her ex-partner Gerard Pique, who is now with Clara Chía, a 23-year-old girl, 12 years younger than him.
In the lines of the song alludes to the bad relationship he had with the former footballer and you can feel their annoyance from the way they broke up.
She even makes comparisons between her and Clara
“I am worth two of 22
You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo
You traded a Rolex for a Casio.”
Given this, the CASIO brand responded with Twitter which reads “And this gratuitous attack?”
In his song he disparages the watch brand, saying that they are cheap compared to a Rolex, but there is a CASIO watch, 10 times more expensive.
This is the Casio G-Shock G-D5000-9JR, a watch made of 18-karat gold, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the g-shock models and only 35 copies were made.
This watch is valued at $60,000, 10 times more than the watch more than Rolex’s Oyster Perpetual model.
