At only 24 years old, Gonzalo Julián Conde, better known as Bizarrap, has revolutionized Latin music, not only because of his genius in producing it from the bases of rap, hip hop, reggaeton, urban and electronic music, but also because of place it in the topics of conversation of the people and therefore, make it viral on social networks.
Bizarrap is the musician that stars like Resident, Villano Antillano, Nathy Peluso, Duki and now Shakira, to vent with music everything they have to say about life, love and disappointments. This young musician may well be the psychoanalyst of contemporary and colloquial poetry.
With Nathy Peluso, she turned the audience on in her “BZR Music Session #36” with the phrase “A surprising, curvaceous and eloquent bitch”, which took over all social networks. While with Villano Antillano the feat was total, hip hop is usually macho, but La Villano with her trans power has given new meaning to the genre, as shown by the “BZRP Music Sessions #51”.
However, the “BZRP Music Sessions #49” has been the most controversial because in it Residente went hard and headlong against the Colombian J Balvin, after its release dozens of memes flooded the networks as now happens with the “BZRP Music Sessions #53” by Shakira where she gives everything to her ex Gerard Piqué and his girlfriend, Clara Chía.
So it is clear that Bizarrap is the leading Argentine producer of the new music scene in the world. After the achievements obtained during 2020, such as being the most listened to Argentine artist globally in the year, and in 2021 his four Latin Grammy nominations including “Producer of the Year” and “Best New Artist”, Bizarrap was positioned as the greatest exponent of Argentine music in the world precisely with his 2022 hits such as “BZRP Music Sessions #49”, with Residente and “BZRP Music Sessions #23”, with Paulo Londra.
His impact took him to incredible stages, such as the closing of Lollapalooza Argentina or Lollapalooza Paris. His first European tour lasted 100 days, performing in more than 20 cities and in front of more than 450,000 people. In 2022, its release together with Quevedo, “BZRP Music Sessions #52” became the most listened to song in the world, remaining for more than 55 days in Spotify’s Global 1 position, becoming the first Argentine to achieve it and maintaining it as the eighth most listened to of the year and the most listened to in Argentina.
He also closed the year with two successful collaborations with Duki, one of the most listened to Argentine artists worldwide: the “BZRP Music Sessions #50” that debuted in the global top three on Spotify and “3 Estrellas en el Conjunto”, Tribute song to the world champion Argentine team. Bizarrap has almost 18 million subscribers on YouTube.
